Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring products meet the company's quality standards through our inspection and testing processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about maintaining high standards of quality in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Undertake testing and measurement of child parts.
- Warranty analysis investigation.
- Support equipment calibration schedule.
- Goods in/finished goods inspection/rework.
- Collaborate with team to resolve quality issues promptly and prevent recurrence.
- Participate in internal audits and support external quality assessments as required.
Skills
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools, testing equipment, and data recording systems. Ideally CMM trained.
- Good understanding of quality standards such as ISO 9001 or similar frameworks is desirable. Familiarity with IATF 16949 would be beneficial.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test reports accurately.
- Effective communication skills to report findings clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
