CAD Designer – Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our specialist, employee-owned company. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in computer-aided design (CAD) and will be responsible for producing accurate drawings and models for a wide range of construction projects. This role requires proficiency in multiple CAD platforms, close collaboration with engineers and architects, and a strong eye for detail to ensure compliance with project standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality CAD drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Work closely with engineers and architects.
- Create 3D models and visualisations.
- Review and check drawings for compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Ensure works are completed to a design program and delivered on time.

Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD (essential), Revit (advantageous), and SolidWorks (not essential).
- Strong understanding of construction processes and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address design challenges.
- Good communication and coordination abilities with colleagues and stakeholders.
