About the Role
Cotswold Farm Park is developing its Food & Beverage offer into a must-visit dining destination in the heart of the Cotswolds. With a 180-seat restaurant, extensive outdoor dining, and multiple outlets across the park, we are looking for a skilled and passionate Junior Sous Chef to help deliver high-quality, fresh food in a fast-paced visitor attraction environment.
This is a hands-on role suited to a chef who thrives under pressure, takes pride in consistency, and enjoys working with seasonal, family-friendly menus using locally inspired produce.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Service
- Take ownership of a designated kitchen section and manage it confidently during service.
- Prepare and cook dishes to specification, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards are maintained.
- Support delivery of high-volume service during peak periods, school holidays, and special events.
- Assist with menu execution across restaurant and park outlets where required.
Stock & Kitchen Management
- Monitor stock levels within your section and communicate requirements to senior chefs.
- Ensure correct stock rotation (FIFO) and minimise waste.
- Assist with deliveries and maintain organised, clean storage areas.
Food Safety & Compliance
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards in line with FSMS procedures.
- Ensure your section meets daily cleaning and closing requirements.
- Work in accordance with all allergen and food safety legislation.
Team Support
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
- Support Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants with guidance and training where appropriate.
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude during busy trading periods.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready to step up.
- Experience in high-volume or fast-paced hospitality environments.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A calm, resilient approach during peak service.
- Passion for quality food and countryside-inspired dining.

Pay: £34,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
