Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Contracts Manager to lead the planning, execution, and oversight of electrical projects within the construction industry. In this pivotal role, you will manage contractual agreements, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety standards. Your leadership and organizational skills will drive project success while fostering strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members. Duties
- Lead the negotiation, drafting, and management of electrical contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks.
- Oversee project timelines using Microsoft Project to ensure milestones are met efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Coordinate project activities by developing detailed schedules, resource plans, and budgets to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Supervise electrical project teams, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure safety protocols and technical standards are upheld.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits, meetings, and reporting; address issues proactively to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Maintain clear communication channels among all stakeholders using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook to facilitate seamless collaboration.
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices in management, negotiation strategies, and construction processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing electrical contracts within the construction or related industries.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent negotiation skills to establish beneficial agreements with clients and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project for scheduling; Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook for documentation and communication.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, electrical systems, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and time management abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required for site visits and client meetings.
- Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, team members, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- IT literacy including familiarity with project management software and electronic document control systems.
