Part-Time Delivery Driver – Family-Run Business
We are a family-run company, established in 1999, looking for a reliable and motivated Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team. The role involves driving 3.5 tonne flatbed vans, delivering to various sites and companies across the UK.
- Minimum 22 hours per week
- Minimum 3 days per week, with the option for more days if desired

Responsibilities
- Operate flatbed vehicles safely and efficiently for deliveries.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods at various locations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs and paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Perform basic mechanical checks on the vehicle as needed to ensure optimal performance.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles.
- Prior experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
