Duties
- Prepare fresh food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation are top-notch
- Serve customers efficiently at the counter, taking orders with a friendly attitude and upselling where appropriate to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and customer areas, following food safety regulations at all times
- Manage cash register transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service
- Assist with stock replenishment, ensuring products are well-stocked and organized for quick access
- Support team members during busy periods by multitasking and staying focused under pressure
- Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to keep the workspace safe for everyone
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices to ensure safe handling of ingredients and products
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory counts
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts
- Ability to work well within a team, communicate clearly, and deliver excellent customer service
