Assistant Cabling Installer – Start Your Career in IT Infrastructure

CRESIT is growing, and we’re looking for an Assistant Cabling Installer to join our team.
You don’t need to be an experienced cabling installer to apply. If you’re reliable, willing to work hard and keen to learn, we’ll provide training and help you develop the skills you need.
What’s the job?
You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and installers on a variety of commercial and construction projects across Northern Ireland and Ireland, including projects for some of the world’s largest companies.
This isn’t a desk job. You’ll be out on site, working as part of a team and learning how professional IT and data networks are installed.
Your day-to-day work will include:
· Installing Cat 6, Cat 6A, copper and fibre optic cabling
· Learning how to terminate and test data cabling
· Learning how to identify and resolve cabling faults
· Installing and working with IT infrastructure on live projects
· Working safely on construction and commercial sites
· Learning directly from experienced members of the CRESIT team

Previous cabling or construction experience is useful, but not essential.
A valid CSR card is preferred, and having your own transport would be an advantage.
