In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving the growth of two of the Group’s leading brands: Direct Corporate Clothing (off-the-shelf PPE and workwear contract specialists) and Incorporatewear (bespoke corporate uniform specialists). You’ll also contribute to establishing WWUGL as a recognised and respected brand in its own right.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to join our warehouse leadership team. As one of two cross-trained Warehouse Managers, you will play a key role in leading our hybrid fulfilment centre, overseeing a team of approximately 40 cross-trained warehouse operatives across both automated and manual warehouse operations.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods from Goods In through to Dispatch and Returns while driving safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring someone who is equally comfortable using warehouse management systems and data dashboards as they are coaching teams on the warehouse floor.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management
- Manage the day-to-day operation across Goods In, Put Away, Picking, Dispatch and Returns.
- Oversee both AutoStore automated storage systems and traditional warehouse operations.
- Monitor AutoStore performance, maximising port utilisation and coordinating with maintenance teams where required.
- Plan labour resources effectively, moving colleagues between automated and manual processes to meet changing operational demands.
- Maintain production flow across Goods In, Put Away, Picking and Dispatch using Lean working practices.
Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of approximately 40 warehouse operatives.
- Deliver effective cross-training to ensure colleagues are competent across both automated and manual warehouse processes.
- Set and monitor performance KPIs including pick rates, accuracy and processing times.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching and one-to-one meetings.
- Foster a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture through visible leadership.
- Provide management cover during the absence of the Head of Warehouse & Logistics or the second Warehouse Manager.
- Enforce company policies, warehouse standards and shop floor discipline.
- Drive 6S standards and promote a strong Health & Safety culture throughout the warehouse.
Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and investigation of stock discrepancies.
- Ensure full compliance with warehouse safety procedures, manual handling requirements and MHE safety standards.
- Manage the efficient processing, grading and reintegration of returned stock.
- Support compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Operational Excellence and Lean methodologies.
- Analyse operational performance data to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and labour utilisation.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- At least 3 years' experience in a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role.
- Previous experience within an automated warehouse, fulfilment centre or e-commerce operation.
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Experience working with AutoStore or similar goods-to-person automation systems (desirable).
- Proven experience managing teams of 30–50 employees within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Excellent leadership, coaching and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the confidence to make data-driven decisions.
- The ability to balance technology-focused operations with hands-on warehouse leadership.
- A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
