Luxe Security Group is recruiting experienced and professional SIA Licensed Door Supervisors to join our team in Reading town center at one of Reading's premier licenced hospitality venues. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers, staff, and the general public.
Key Responsibilities
- Create an amazing welcome to customers. Greet and engage with guests in a friendly and approachable manner
- Act as a brand ambassador for the venue and Luxe Security Group
- Conduct ID checks when the venue is 18+ (Challenge 25)
- Conduct regular patrols of the venue to monitor customer behaviour
- Prevent loss and protect assets through vigilance and presence
- Provide immediate first aid where necessary and respond effectively to incidents
- Maintain a highly visible and professional presence at all times
- Enforce venue policies and licensing laws
- Liaise with emergency services and venue management when required
- Accurately complete incident and handover reports
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (essential)
- Physically fit and capable
- Highly customer focused
- Smart, professional appearance
- Previous experience in a similar role (hospitality, licensed venues, or events preferred)
- Confident, professional, and customer-focused.
- Strong situational awareness and conflict resolution skills
- First Aid certification
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Must be available and comfortable working until 03:00am (latest - some shifts finish earlier).
- Punctual, reliable, and well-presented
- Have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom
- Have a National Insurance number
- Must live within the Reading (RG1) area or are able to commute within a reasonable time.
