HGV Class 2 Driver / Industrial Cleaner – Industrial Cleaning Services, Runtech Ltd
Due to continued growth, we are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver / Industrial Cleaner to join our Sheffield operation. We pride ourselves in fostering a great working environment, if you’re passionate about doing great things in a fast-moving industry, we’d love to hear from you!
The Role
This is a dual-skilled operational role combining:
· Driving and operating Class 2 industrial cleaning vehicles
· Supporting industrial cleaning works including vacuum and tanker operations
· Completing daily vehicle defect checks and shift reports
· Working safely in accordance with company and client procedures
· Representing Runtech professionally on customer sites
· Maintaining high housekeeping and equipment standards
Safety, reliability and customer service are central to this role.

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
· Full UK HGV Class 2 Licence or Documented Site Licence
· Maximum 6 penalty points (for insurance purposes)
· Experience operating vacuum, tanker or similar specialist vehicles
· Physically fit and comfortable working in industrial environments
· Strong safety mindset
· Ability to follow procedures and complete documentation accurately
Desirable:
· Industrial cleaning experience
· Experience working on heavy industrial sites
· CPC qualification (if not already implied by licence)
What We Offer :
· £15.50 per hour - Full UK HGV Class 2 Licence (paid weekly in arrears)
· Average 40-hour working week over a 4 week shift pattern
· Shift pattern includes a minimum of one weekend during the four week pattern.
· Working hours : 5.45am – 2:15pm (30-minute unpaid break)
· Overtime paid after completion of basic weekly hours.
o Time & a half after 40 hours or on a Saturday
o Double time on Sundays
· Company pension scheme (auto enrolment)
· Full PPE and uniform provided
· Local role – home at the end of your shift
