Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests while supporting the smooth operation of our catering and hospitality services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. Duties
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring high standards of customer service.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
- Set up dining areas prior to service, including arranging tables, chairs, and tableware.
- Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff promptly.
- Clear tables and assist with cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards throughout the venue.
- Support baristas with drink preparation when necessary, ensuring quality and presentation are maintained.
- Follow food safety regulations diligently, including proper handling of food items and cleaning protocols.
- Provide assistance during special events or catering functions as needed, adapting to various service styles.
Experience
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided for motivated individuals.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable.
- Experience working in a restaurant or similar setting, including barista experience, will be considered a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for delivering excellent guest experiences.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills related to food preparation and customer service.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
