Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate drink and food orders, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems while maintaining basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, following health regulations
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety practices, and basic food preparation is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with guests and team members effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic math proficiency for handling payments and balancing cash registers
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 12.0 – 20.0 per week
