Financial Administration Assistant – Financial Planning Team
Bigmore Associates is a long-standing and well-established financial services firm that offers a wide range of support and financial services to businesses and individuals.
We are looking for a Financial Administration Assistant to join our Financial Planning Team. Our office is based in Walton on Thames and this role is 5 days working in the office. Our weekly working hours are 37.5 hours between the hours of 8.30am to 5pm from Monday to Friday.
What skills, qualifications and experience do I need to have?
- Previous experience in an administrative role within financial services, wealth management or financial planning would be advantageous but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience using financial planning or CRM systems would be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
- Professional and client-focused approach
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C/4 or above
- A willingness to learn and develop within the financial services industry
What are my key responsibilities?
- Providing administrative support to Financial Planners and the wider Financial Planning Team
- Preparing client documentation, application forms and review packs
- Liaising with clients, providers and third parties in a professional and timely manner
- Managing client records and ensuring information is accurate and up to date
- Assisting with new business processing and monitoring progress through to completion
- Scheduling meetings and maintaining adviser diaries
- Handling incoming correspondence, emails and telephone enquiries
- Supporting the team to ensure compliance and regulatory standards are met
- Assisting with general office administration duties as required

What is the compensation package?
The salary range for this role is up to £25,625 per annum. Final agreed salary will depend on your qualifications and experience.
Our team is also eligible for a non contractual 10% discretionary bonus annually, which will depend on company profits, hitting your KPIs and exhibiting the behaviours we expect from our team, in line with our core values of:
