Location – Fixed at Barnardo's at Junction 3, Bristol.
Barnardo's is leading the delivery of the UK's first trial of Multidimensional Family Therapy (MDFT) in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Newport & Cardiff.
The therapy supports young people aged 11–17 who are facing complex challenges, including substance misuse, risk of offending, and mental health difficulties.
Supporting our team of therapists, our Intake & Engagement workers will assess referrals, welcome new families into the trial and work alongside our evaluation partners (University of Kent and Teesside) to complete baseline questionnaires with young people to measure their needs and use of alcohol and substances.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for experience working alongside a therapy team and a university led clinical trial.
The job is advertised as 18 hours and based in Bristol. A similar post is adverstised in Newport / Cardiff and the roles could be combined as a full time (37 hour) post.
There is opportunity for flexible workings but will need availability till 6pm on at least one day / week.
