Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Assist in fabricating and assembling wooden components using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques
- Support the measurement, cutting, shaping, and fitting of timber and other materials according to project specifications
- Participate in joinery elements.
- Learn proper handling of heavy lifting equipment and safe use of construction tools.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all fabrication and construction tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workshop and job site to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic about learning carpentry, joinery, and construction trades with a keen eye for detail
- Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Physically capable of performing heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to develop new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions carefully
- Must be committed to safety standards and quality workmanship throughout training
- We would expect a decent grade in maths so to understand measurement skills.
