Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Bar Team Member to join our team at a busy private hire venue in Cheltenham.
This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established, close-knit team, as roles do not come up often due to excellent staff retention. The position is available due to a long-standing team member relocating after completing university and we are opening an extra bar so simply need more staff.
About the Role:
We host a wide range of private events including weddings, birthdays, corporate functions, and Christmas parties and are opening a cocktail bar.
The role involves:
- Serving drinks including cocktails, draught beer/cider, wine and spirits
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Working in a fast-paced environment during peak service times
- Supporting food service during catered events when required
- Maintaining cleanliness of the bar and glassware
Hours & Shifts:
- Typically 2–4 shifts per month
- Increased hours available during peak periods (Especially December & March)
- Shifts are usually 6–8 hours, with occasional longer events
This role is ideal for someone looking for a second job or flexible part-time work.

Requirements:
- Previous bar or hospitality experience (essential as we have multiple bars so will need to be able to run one independently at times)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
