Duties
- Diagnose vehicle issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, and engine diagnostics
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and repair tasks
- Conduct equipment repairs as needed, ensuring all work meets safety standards
- Assist in heavy lifting of parts and equipment during repairs
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs
- Execute welding tasks as required for specific vehicle repairs
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for vehicle maintenance
- Experience in assembly processes related to vehicle components
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
