The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a key role in leading shifts, supporting colleagues and ensuring our residents receive outstanding care every day.
Shift patterns available:
- 8:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 8:00pm
- 8:00am – 8:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Safely administer, order, monitor and record medications in line with policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate medication records, stock checks and returns.
- Act as a key point of contact for GPs, district nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the home and ensure all care tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Lead by example, providing guidance and support to the care team.
- Participate in the on-call rota (approximately one weekend per month), providing telephone advice and, where required, covering staff absence.

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about delivering outstanding care
- Caring, honest and dependable
- A positive role model who leads by example
- A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Motivated, enthusiastic and keen to develop
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Level 3 is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided)
- Calm and confident when managing challenging situations, with appropriate support and training
