Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the premises while also assisting with basic kitchen duties, including washing dishes and preparing a light afternoon snack. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including communal spaces, bathrooms, and other facilities, using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures to meet health and safety standards.
- Wash, dry, and put away dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Prepare and serve a light afternoon snack in accordance with provided guidelines.
- Ensure kitchen and food preparation areas are kept clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, cleaning materials, and kitchen essentials as required.
- Complete all cleaning and kitchen-related tasks efficiently and to a high standard within scheduled timeframes.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety, hygiene, and food handling procedures at all times.
- Follow organisational procedures for waste disposal and recycling programmes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping, commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Basic food preparation skills and knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices are desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes.
- Good organisational skills and reliability.
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the organisation's operational hours.
- A positive attitude and professional approach towards clients, visitors, and colleagues.

Pay: £12.71-£12.75 per hour
