Experienced Carpenters / Carpentry Gangs
XB Carpentry & Building Ltd are looking for experienced, reliable carpenters or small carpentry gangs to join us on an ongoing new-build housing development for Allison Homes in Cotgrave, Nottingham.
This is an opportunity for the right people to secure ongoing price work, rather than day-rate labour.
We are looking for all-round new-build carpenters who are confident working independently and can complete carpentry packages to a high standard and within agreed programmes.
The work will cover a range of 1st fix, 2nd fix and general carpentry, including roofs, joists, stairs, doors, kitchens and other associated carpentry works.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in new-build housing
- Competent across 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
- Ability to work from drawings and specifications
- Good understanding of NHBC standards and new-build requirements
- Reliable and able to work to agreed programmes
- Own tools
- CSCS card
- Previous price-work experience preferred
- High standard of workmanship
