Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and motivated Shuttering Joiners / Formwork Carpenters to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling formwork structures that shape concrete during building projects. Your expertise will ensure the safety, precision, and efficiency of formwork systems used in commercial and residential construction. Duties
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to accurately construct formwork structures.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install formwork components using hand tools and power tools with precision.
- Ensure formwork is properly aligned, levelled, and secured to withstand concrete pouring processes.
- Collaborate with team members to plan daily tasks and coordinate the installation of formwork systems efficiently.
- Dismantle formwork after concrete has set, ensuring safe removal without damaging structures or materials.
- Conduct inspections of formwork for safety compliance, structural integrity, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Operate heavy lifting equipment when necessary for moving large formwork panels or materials around the site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Shuttering Joiner or Formwork Carpenter in commercial or residential construction projects.
- Proficiency with hand tools.
Pay: £25.00-£26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45.0 per week
