Service Coordinator

As our business continues to grow, we're investing in our customer service team and are looking for an enthusiastic Service Coordinator to become a key part of our busy and friendly office.
Working alongside our Customer Service Manager and team of field engineers, you'll help coordinate service activities, keep customers informed, ensure engineers have everything they need and make sure every job progresses smoothly from booking through to completion.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same, and you'll quickly become one of the central people who keeps our service department running efficiently.
What you'll be doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Being one of the first points of contact for our customers by telephone and email.
- Coordinating engineer visits and helping keep the service schedule running smoothly.
- Preparing and sending service quotations.
- Following up quotations and customer recommendations.
- Updating engineer reports and service records accurately.
- Creating and maintaining customer equipment and asset records.
- Ensuring engineers have the correct information, parts and paperwork before attending site.
- Monitoring outstanding jobs and proactively keeping customers updated.
- Liaising with engineers, suppliers and other departments to ensure work progresses efficiently.
- Supporting service reminders, recommendations and credit control activities.
- Helping identify opportunities to improve our processes and customer experience.
- Providing holiday cover and supporting the wider customer service team.

Previous experience in service coordination, customer service, engineering support, facilities management, healthcare, dental, logistics or office administration would all be beneficial, although full training will be provided.

- Helping engineers arrive at jobs with the right information and equipment.
- Ensuring quotations and customer follow-ups are completed promptly.
- Keeping service records accurate and up to date.
- Providing excellent communication and support to our customers.
- Helping reduce delays and improve the efficiency of our service department.

Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
