Job Overview
We're looking for a skilled and reliable Insulation Installer with experience fitting Superfoil (or similar multifoil) insulation systems to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll deliver high-quality insulation installations across residential and commercial properties, ensuring every job meets manufacturer specifications, building regulations, and our standards for workmanship. Responsibilities
- Install Superfoil and other multifoil, thermal, and acoustic insulation products in lofts, walls, floors, and roofs in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Read and interpret installation specifications and technical drawings to ensure correct product placement and overlap.
- Prepare work areas, including measuring, cutting, and fitting insulation materials to a high standard of finish.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, complying with health and safety regulations and site-specific risk assessments.
- Work efficiently to complete installations on schedule while maintaining consistent quality across all jobs.
- Communicate clearly with site managers, other trades, and customers to coordinate work and resolve any on-site issues.
- Keep accurate records of materials used and report any issues or defects with products or site conditions.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and keep vehicles and storage areas organised.
Experience
- Proven experience installing insulation, ideally with Superfoil or other multifoil insulation systems.
- Good working knowledge of current building regulations and insulation standards.
- Comfortable working at height, in lofts, and in confined spaces.
- Strong practical skills with attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
