Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently using practice management software
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff or departments
- Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and update records accurately
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and fax communications
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area to ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing patient documentation
Qualifications
- Prior office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and customer service abilities
- Administrative experience preferred, with familiarity in handling schedules, records, and communication tools
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare providers
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
