We’re looking for a hands‑on, high‑accountability Store Manager to lead our Farnham store. You’ll be the face of the store, building genuine relationships with the local community while running a disciplined, high‑performance operation. This role requires someone who takes ownership, sets standards, and ensures the store delivers exceptional service every single day.
What You’ll Do
- Lead from the front on the shop floor, setting the tone for warm, attentive, community‑focused service.
- Take full ownership of store standards, ensuring cleanliness, presentation, product quality, and atmosphere are consistently excellent.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and hold your team accountable for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Build strong relationships with Farnham locals, families, and regular customers, becoming a trusted part of the neighbourhood.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints with professionalism, care, and clear follow‑through.
- Manage daily operations including stock control, ordering, rotas, and compliance with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work flexibly across weekdays, evenings, weekends, and seasonal peaks to support the needs of the store.
- Drive sales through great service, upselling, and team engagement.
- Monitor KPIs, identify issues early, and work with the Area Manager to improve performance and resolve problems quickly.
- Take responsibility for the store’s results — celebrating wins and addressing gaps proactively.
