Demi Chef de Partie
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per year
Dorian is looking for an ambitious, highly capable Demi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.
This is not a standard entry-level Demi CDP role. We are looking for someone operating at, or ready to step into, Junior Sous Chef level: technically strong, calm under pressure and confident taking real ownership of a section.
You will work closely with the senior kitchen team to deliver precise, ingredient-led food at a consistently high standard. You will be hands-on in service, organised in prep, and invested in helping the people around you get better every day.
What you’ll be doing
- Running and supporting a section during busy service
- Producing consistently excellent prep, mise en place and presentation
- Supporting the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef team with daily kitchen operations
- Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, food safety and organisation
- Helping train and develop junior chefs
- Taking responsibility for stock, ordering and minimising waste within your section
- Bringing ideas, energy and a genuine interest in seasonal produce to the kitchen

- Strong experience in a quality-led, busy restaurant kitchen
- A Demi CDP, Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef looking for the right next move
- Excellent technical cooking ability and attention to detail
- A calm, positive and hardworking approach to service
- High standards, strong communication and pride in your work
- A genuine desire to develop within an ambitious kitchen team
