Role Overview
We are seeking a Finance and Investment Analyst with a strong background in macro cycle analysis and derivatives trading. You will be responsible for conducting research on global liquidity conditions, monetary policy, and inflation dynamics to inform company strategy and client advisory services. This role bridges financial data analysis with business decision-making, helping to optimise our own capital allocation and providing strategic insights to our clients .
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct macroeconomic and market research, monitoring global liquidity, interest rates, and inflation trends and assessing their impact on financial markets and the payroll/employment sector.
- Perform data analysis using Python, SQL, and Bloomberg/Wind to model financial scenarios and monitor portfolio performance, risk exposure, and leverage levels.
- Produce detailed investment reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations .
- Support portfolio managers in asset allocation decisions and daily trade execution for company funds.
- Analyse client financial data to provide advice on pension schemes, insurance products, and benefits optimisation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment research, or derivatives trading .
- Strong understanding of global financial markets, macro cycle analysis, and cross-asset investment strategies .
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and familiarity with Bloomberg or Wind terminals.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail .
- Professional certifications such as Securities Qualification, Fund Qualification, or Futures Qualification (China) are a plus.
- Fluent in English (IELTS 7.0 or equivalent).
