What is the role?
We're looking for a proactive and innovative professional to join our Business Improvement team. This role is at the heart of driving positive change across Hafod, helping teams work more efficiently, improve customer outcomes and deliver our strategic objectives
Make a difference every day as a Business Improvement Partner at Hafod.
Working closely with colleagues, managers and senior leaders, you'll identify opportunities for improvement, redesign processes, analyse data and support transformational projects that make a real difference to our customers and communities. You'll act as a trusted partner, bringing specialist expertise in continuous improvement, business analysis and business intelligence to help turn ideas into reality.
This is a permanent 36 hours full time vacancy with option to work 9 day fortnight.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working, with our Business Improvement team primarily based at our Head Office in Cardiff. Travel across Hafod services may be required as part of the role.
Because this role involves travelling independently across our sites and services, you'll need to hold a full, valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle and need appropriate insurance (for example business use).

What you’ll be doing
- Partner with colleagues and senior leaders to identify, prioritise and deliver improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience, efficiency and service delivery.

Lead and support process improvement and redesign activities, helping teams map current ways of working and develop future-focused solutions.

Analyse complex data, trends and performance information to identify opportunities, drive evidence-based decision-making and support business cases.

Facilitate workshops, engage stakeholders and champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and change across the organisation.

Support the delivery of business change projects, ensuring improvements achieve measurable benefits for customers, colleagues and the wider organisation.

What you’ll bring
-
Experience in Business Improvement, Process Design, Business Analysis, Change Management, Continuous Improvement or Data Analytics.

A strong understanding of improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, workflow improvement or process automation.

Experience using data analysis and business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, to support performance improvement and strategic decision-making.

Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into practical recommendations and outcomes.

The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

A passion for innovation, customer-focused improvement and delivering meaningful organisational change..
