We're recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering company that installs specialist gas pipeline systems into hospitals, healthcare facilities and laboratories across the UK. Due to continued growth and upcoming retirements within the team, they're looking for Installation Engineers to join their Midlands region.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing copper pipework and specialist gas pipeline systems.
- Brazing and silver soldering.
- Installing plant equipment, manifolds and alarm systems.
- Reading 2D & 3D engineering drawings.
- Testing, commissioning and completing installation documentation.
- Working closely with project managers, contractors and customers on a variety of healthcare construction projects.
We're Looking For
You'll ideally come from one of the following backgrounds:
- Medical Gas Engineer / MGPS Installer
- Pipefitter
- Mechanical Installer
- Mechanical Building Services
- HVAC or Commercial Gas
- Industrial Pipework
- Mechanical Fitter
Essential:
- Copper pipe installation
- Brazing / silver soldering
- Mechanical installation experience
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Happy travelling and staying away when required
Medical gas experience or HTM 02-01 knowledge is advantageous but not essential - full specialist training will be provided.
