Testing & Remedials Electrician (Subcontractor)

We are looking for an experienced Testing & Remedials Electrician to join our growing business on a subcontractor basis.
Work is geographically grouped to minimise travel time, and the role offers a good mix of planned EICRs and follow-up remedial works, providing variety throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) for domestic and commercial properties
- General electrical maintenance and reactive callouts
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out remedial works
- Repairing, replacing, and upgrading wiring, fixtures, and electrical equipment
- Installing consumer units and distribution boards
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified electrician in both domestic and commercial environments
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation with AM2
- City & Guilds 18th Edition
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
- Valid public liability insurance
- Own van and tools essential
