About us
CACTi PCs is one of the UK's fastest growing custom gaming PC builders. We build and ship hundreds of high-spec machines a month from our workshop in Flint, and we're scaling fast heading into our busiest period of the year. We're a small, hands-on team that takes real pride in what goes out the door.
The role
We're looking for a Workshop Supervisor to help run the day-to-day on the floor. You'll be the person who keeps the workshop moving, sets the pace for the day, and is the first point of contact for the team when questions come up, so the operation runs smoothly and the owner can focus on growing the business.
This is a hands-on role. You'll still be involved in the work itself, but you'll also be keeping builds on track, making sure orders go out on time, and helping the team stay organised and on top of the workload during a busy period.
What you'll be doing
- Keeping the workshop running smoothly day to day
- Setting daily priorities and keeping builds on schedule against order volume
- Being the first point of contact for the team's questions on the floor
- Making sure PCs are built, packed and dispatched on time
- Helping keep quality high and catching issues before they become problems
- Keeping the workshop organised, tidy and safe
- Supporting the wider team where needed to hit deadlines
What we're looking for
- Experience in a workshop, production, warehouse or similar hands-on environment
- PC Building experience (professionally prefered)
- Someone reliable who can take ownership of the floor and keep a team on track
- Organised, calm under pressure and good with people
- Happy to lead by example and get stuck in
This is a hands-on supervisory role, so we're after someone with the experience and confidence to keep things running, not a first-time starter.
