Job Title: Architectural Technician
Part Time: .Mon-Thurs 9.30am to 2.30pm. Would suit those with caring responsibilities.
Location: Otley, on site | Salary: £35K pro rata

Who are you?
You're the person who actually enjoys getting the U-values right. You geek out over junction details. You see a tricky existing structure and think "that's a challenge I'd love to solve." You speak AutoCAD and SketchUp like a native .
You're not just a button-pusher — you understand why a detail works and you care about getting it right on paper so it's right on site.
Experience working with heritage buildings would be advantageous.
What you'll do:
- Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications
- Work across RIBA Stages 3–5 (developed design through to construction)
- Liaise with contractors, engineers, planners, clients and other consultants
- Keep our technical standards high and our compliance in order
What you'll need:
- Strong AutoCAD skills
- A solid understanding of the Building Regulations and construction methods
- A forensic eye for detail
- Bonus points for: conservation or heritage project work, with an actual passion for materials and making
