Duties
- Deliver a wide range of hair styling services, including cutting, colouring, blow-drying, and specialised treatments
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including appointment scheduling and client enquiries
- Upsell additional services and retail products to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Offer mentoring and guidance to junior staff or apprentices to foster skill development
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the salon environment
- Assist with store management tasks as required, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Build strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service and personalised advice
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with relevant qualifications recognised within the industry
- Skills in barbering are desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Strong customer service orientation with a professional demeanour
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends or evenings if required
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently
- Previous experience in mentoring or training junior staff is advantageous
- A valid qualification in hairdressing recognised by industry standards
