Electrician – Solar & Renewable Energy£36,000 per year + Company Van

Best Electrical and Renewables Ltd are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our growing renewable energy division covering Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician looking to further develop within the fast-growing renewable energy sector, working on a varied mix of solar PV installations, battery storage systems, EV charging and electrical installation projects.
We are looking for someone professional, motivated and technically strong who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.
Duties Include
- Solar PV installation and maintenance
- Battery storage installation and commissioning
- EV charger installations
- Electrical installation works
- Fault finding and testing
- Inspection and testing
- Supporting apprentices and junior engineers on site
Ongoing manufacturer and industry training will be provided for the right candidate.
Requirements
- City & Guilds qualified electrician
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification essential
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Solar PV experience preferred but not essential
- Experience with battery storage or EV charging advantageous
