The Role: Install Manager
Location: Cardiff (Workshop / Office based / Some onsite work)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 dependant on experience
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time
Position Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Installation Manager to join Wild Creations and help deliver exciting projects across the world.
Working with our Head of Installations, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of multiple installations from concept through to completion, ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently, on time, to budget and to the highest possible standard.
You’ll work closely with our Design, Production and Projects teams to make sure installation requirements are considered early, while leading our installation teams on site and coordinating freelancers, contractors and logistics.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Installation team, creating a supportive, professional and safety-focused working environment.
- Plan and oversee the installation of multiple national and international projects.
- Coordinate schedules, people, equipment, materials and transport.
- Work with Design, Production and Projects to identify and resolve installation challenges early.
- Manage installation budgets and resources, ensuring projects remain on track and within budget.
- Oversee site operations, including construction, rigging, installation and dismantling.
- Ensure risk assessments, site reports and safe working practices are maintained to a high standard.
- Act as a key point of contact for issues arising on site and work proactively to find solutions.
- Keep Project Managers and the Head of Installations updated on progress, risks and budgets.
- Contribute to project debriefs and help drive continual improvement across the department.
- Represent Wild Creations professionally with clients, contractors and suppliers.
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience managing installations, site operations or a similar project-based environment.
- Is confident leading teams and coordinating freelancers and contractors.
- Has strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Understands site safety, risk management and safe working practices.
- Can manage budgets, logistics and multiple priorities.
- Communicates confidently with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
- Is practical, calm under pressure and comfortable adapting when plans change.
- Is willing to travel internationally and work on site when required.
- Experience within creative production, scenic fabrication, events, exhibitions, entertainment or themed environments would be a real advantage.
