The Honeypot Nursery Almondbank are offering a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about working with children and eager to develop skills within a nurturing nursery environment. You will gain hands-on experience supporting young children’s development, assisting with daily activities, and learning essential childcare practices. This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking to kick-start a career in early childhood education while earning valuable qualifications and experience.
Duties
- Support the delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s learning and development
- Assist qualified staff in supervising children during play, meals, and rest times
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and staff
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a positive nursery experience
- Observe and record children’s progress, sharing insights with senior staff to support individual needs
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance childcare knowledge and management skills
- Support the implementation of nursery policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting or nursery environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Demonstrated interest in early childhood education or related fields
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues
Pay: £19,760.00-£22,568.00 per year
