Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant / Pot Wash to join our dynamic team at Crai Y Don hotel in GB. This role is vital in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen and ensuring our guests receive top-quality food service. Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation to support kitchen staff in delivering high-quality meals. Serve on our Bain Marie during Breakfast and Evening Meal times in the restaurant.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and Front of house serving areas.
Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently to ensure timely cleaning of utensils and cookware.
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods, ensuring smooth operations.
Help with stock rotation and storage of kitchen supplies.
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment.
Contribute positively to team efforts by being proactive and reliable.
Qualifications
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is valued.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
A flexible approach to tasks and working hours.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in food service environments, Training will be given.
