We are looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our friendly team at St Brigas Residential Home in Clevedon. We support 15 adults with learning disabilities to live safe, fulfilling and independent lives.
As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care while promoting dignity, choice and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support with daily living activities.
- Support residents with eating, drinking and meal preparation.
- Administer medication following training and company procedures.
- Promote independence, dignity and choice at all times.
- Support residents to attend appointments and access the local community.
- Encourage participation in activities and hobbies.
- Complete accurate care records and report any concerns promptly.
- Assist with household duties, including cleaning, laundry and maintaining a safe environment.
- Work in line with safeguarding, health and safety, infection control and medication policies.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow care plans.
What We're Looking For
- A caring, compassionate and positive attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, evenings and sleep-in shifts.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Shift Pattern
- 35–40 hours per week.
- Day shifts, evening shifts, alternate weekends and sleep-in shifts.
