Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
- Utilise tools safely and effectively to complete repair tasks efficiently
- Assist with heavy lifting of vehicle parts or components to facilitate repairs while adhering to safety protocols
- Follow safety procedures consistently to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair methods through ongoing training and development opportunities
Qualifications
- Solid mechanical knowledge with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience using hand tools and power tools in automotive repair settings
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine maintenance tasks
- Strong communication skills to explain technical issues clearly and professionally
- Prior experience working with diagnostic equipment
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is advantageous
