### Job Summary:
The Grantchester Green Man, a beloved and bustling gastro pub located in the heart of the picturesque village of Grantchester, is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team to provide an exceptional experience for all our guests.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service, greeting guests warmly upon arrival and ensuring they feel welcomed and valued throughout their visit.
Order Management: Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the POS system for order input, and manage payments and transactions with attention to detail.
Table Management: Ensure tables are clean, tidy, and properly set before guests arrive and after they leave. Manage the flow of guests with a keen eye on seating arrangements and wait times.
Food and Beverage Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our menus, including food, beers, wines, and spirits, to make informed recommendations to guests.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders, addressing any guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and cleanliness standards, to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role is essential along enthusiasm and a willingness to continue to learn.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well under pressure.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
