We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team working across social housing properties in Basildon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship within occupied and void properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out a wide range of carpentry repairs and maintenance works in social housing properties
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining doors, frames, kitchens, flooring, and other internal/external woodwork
- Working within occupied homes with a strong focus on customer service
- Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Complying with all health and safety regulations
Essential Requirements:
- City & Guilds Level 2 in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification)
- Proven experience working within social housing
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
