Block & Bottle is an award-winning butchers and bottle shop in Heaton, Newcastle. We specialise in whole-carcass butchery and supply our handmade products (bacon, sausages, burgers and charcuterie) to local customers and top North East restaurants.
Role Overview
Assist with prepping and packing daily catering and wholesale orders then delivering them to our restaurant and café customers.
Key Duties & Attributes
- Load and unload meat products, including heavy lifting of pork, beef and lamb carcasses
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain the van
- Keep accurate delivery records and complete paperwork correctly
- Follow instructions with strong attention to detail
Qualifications
- Aged 30+ with a full, clean UK driving licence held for at least 5 years
- No accidents in the last 5 years
- Previous delivery/van-driving experience
- Good English and Maths skills
- Legally able to work in the UK
- Safe, compliant vehicle operation

Hours
10–15 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday, with extra hours as needed, especially at Christmas.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
