Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Ground Worker to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in supporting the External Works team ,Kerbing,Slab laying etc
Duties
- Assist with External works team slab laying-Kerb Laying-etc
- Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for digging, leveling, and material handling
- Support excavation activities using equipment like excavators under supervision to prepare sites for construction
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all activities to prevent accidents and injuries on-site
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently, adhering to project timelines and quality standards
Skills
- Strong knowledge of External works practices and techniques
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and small machinery such as excavators
- Prior construction experience or familiarity with site preparation work is highly desirable
- Good physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Effective communication skills for teamwork and following instructions accurately
Pay: Up to £190.00 per day
