About the Role
Poke Stop is a busy, vibrant restaurant in the heart of Cambridge. We are looking for a reliable and experienced Front of House Assistant to join our team. While we have a dedicated kitchen team, we need a professional who can take full ownership of the customer experience and the presentation of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Providing a warm welcome and efficient service during our fast-paced lunchtime rushes.
- Till Management: Handling orders and payments accurately.
- Self-Motivation: Using "quiet periods" after lunch effectively to deep clean, restock, and ensure the restaurant remains spotless without being asked.
- Maintaining Standards: Keeping the dining area organized and inviting at all times.
What We Are Looking For: Full time or Part time, but permanent role (NOT SUMMER TEMP)
- Experience Required: Previous experience in Front of House or hospitality is essential. We want someone who knows how a restaurant flows.
- Reliability: We are looking for a long-term team member. If you are looking for a stable, permanent role and have a consistent work history, we want to hear from you.
- Proactive Attitude: Someone who sees what needs to be done and does it. You should be comfortable working independently during quieter hours.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills are required.
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
