Overview
We are seeking a skilled Site Fitter / Steel Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be hardworking and enthusiastic, with experience in welding and/or fabrication being desirable. If you are successful, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and installing components to high-quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work with various tools, and a commitment to safety.
Duties
- Fitting of architectural and structural steel according to specifications
- Develop an understanding of engineering drawings for installation
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time
A CSCS Card is required for this role, training will be provided if the candidate does not hold a current accreditation.
A full UK driving license is preferred.
This role includes travelling for work on occasion, with overnight accommodation, paid travel time and generous stop-out allowances provided by the company.
Overtime and weekend work available with opportunities to progress within the company.
