Part-Time Commercial Cleaner
Location: Donington and surrounding areas – various commercial sites :
Approximately 8–10 hours per week
1–2 evenings per week plus Saturday daytime
Initially a 5 week fixed-term contract, with potential for ongoing work
About the Role
We are a small, growing commercial cleaning business looking for two reliable and hardworking Commercial Cleaners to join our team.
You will work alongside our permanent staff, helping us maintain exceptionally high cleaning standards across our commercial contract sites in Donington and the surrounding area.
The role is initially for 5 weeks, but there is a good possibility of ongoing work for the right candidates as our business continues to expand.
This is an active, fast-paced and physically demanding role, so we are looking for people who are comfortable working efficiently and maintaining high standards within set cleaning times.
Your Duties Will Include
● Vacuuming large commercial floor areas using commercial-sized vacuum cleaners
● Mopping and cleaning hard floors
● Cleaning and sanitising desks, tables and communal touchpoints
● Emptying bins, replacing liners and transferring waste to external commercial bins/skips
● Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting toilets, sinks, mirrors and washroom areas
● Restocking soap, toilet rolls and paper towels
● Following site-specific cleaning schedules and procedures
● Ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness
What We’re Looking For
Full UK Driving Licence & Own Vehicle – EssentialYou must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle, as our commercial sites are in various locations around Donington and the surrounding area. You will normally remain at one site for the duration of each shift.
Physically Fit & Comfortable With a Fast-Paced RoleCommercial cleaning is physically demanding. You will need to be comfortable vacuuming large areas, using commercial cleaning equipment, mopping, bending, lifting and completing cleaning tasks within set timeframes.
Reliable & PunctualExcellent timekeeping is essential. Our customers rely on us to attend their premises at agreed times and ensure sites are cleaned and left secure.
DBS CheckYou must either hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check, which we will arrange and fund.
ExperiencePrevious commercial or office cleaning experience is preferred, but it is not essential. Full training can be provided to candidates who have the right attitude, reliability and work ethic.
