Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team, responsible for constructing, assembling, and installing wooden structures and fixtures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and be proficient in using various hand and power tools. Responsibilities
- Assemble and fabricate wooden structures according to specifications and design plans.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
- Perform masonry tasks as required for specific projects.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and building regulations.
- Conduct heavy lifting as necessary during the assembly and installation processes.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience
- Proven 5+ years experience as a Joiner in a similar role is essential.
- Strong knowledge of various carpentry techniques and materials used in construction.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Experience with heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments is essential.
