Job Summary
I am seeking a friendly and energetic Tumble Tots Play Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children to develop their motor skills and confidence. In this lively role, you will support the delivery of energetic play sessions, assist children during activities, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for families. Your positive attitude will inspire our Tots to explore, move, and grow through play.
Duties
- Support children during organised play sessions by providing encouragement, guidance, and supervision to ensure safety at all times and the correct use of equipment
- Assist with setting up and packing away the Tumble Tots equipment before and after classes, including moving it in and out if the van.
- Engage positively with the children in a friendly and encouraging manner to promote participation in all activities
- support all children of varying ages and abilities with patience and enthusiam
- support the class leader in delivering structured sessions, including physical activites, songs and movement.
Requirements
- Prior experience in teaching, nannying, childcare, or similar roles working with young children is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills
- Passionate about early childhood development with a lively, energetic approach
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work every Saturday morning in term time
- Demonstrated patience, creativity, and enthusiasm when engaging with children of various ages from 6 months to 5 years
