Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to food safety standards
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of servers, kitchen staff, and bartenders to deliver excellent customer service
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high quality and presentation standards
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks efficiently, and monitor performance to foster a cohesive work environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and health codes at all times
- Assist in training new staff members on service procedures, food handling, and safety practices
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction and repeat business
Experience
- Proven supervising or team management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive restaurant experience with hands-on culinary knowledge including food preparation and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food production processes, and kitchen operations
- Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
- Knowledge of hotel or culinary environments is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
