Equine Care Officer
Positions Available: 42 Hours Per Week. Full Time.

Horses and Ponies Protection Association are looking for a talented equestrian to join the Equine Care Team on full time, permanent basis. This is a rare opportunity to join the Charity's Equine Care Team in a full time position.
The successful candidate will have sufficient horse husbandry skills and experience to offer high standards of care to resident equines. Will demonstrate an understanding of the specific needs of equines on a rehabilitation programme. The charity is looking for experienced equine handler with sound stable management skills with the ability to communicate confidently and work supportively with work colleagues and the public.
The role is to complete ALL tasks in relation to the care of the horses, ponies and donkeys rescued each year by the charity, alongside handling, exercising, grooming, treating ailments, you will be responsible for ensuring that the stables, yards and paddocks are kept clean and tidy.
Equestrian knowledge and experience is essential. BHS Qualifications or Equivalent Desirable but not Essential.
